Kendall Jenner was ecstatic today after getting her Christmas present early from her parents Kris and Bruce Jenner.



The 16-year-old reality star took to Twitter to boast about the new addition to the Kardashian clan - two adorable chocolate Labradors.

She wrote: 'OMG OMG OMG! Best Xmas present ever!!!!!!! 2 beautiful puppies!!!!!! Ahhhh thanks mom and dad!!!!'

Yesterday Kendall was spotted with her younger sister Kylie hitting Calabasas in California to splash their cash like Kim Kardashian mini-me's.

The two sisters also took Kendall's $90,000 Range Rover for a car wash, which the pretty brunette received for her sweet 16 birthday last month.

It's no surprise to see the girls both looking older than their years, despite dressing down in their casual clothes.

Older sibling Kendall showed off her supermodel proportions in black leggings and flat winter ankle boots, without the additional need to boost her 5ft 9in frame with heels.

While the girls are already making a name for themselves in the modelling world, they could soon land their own spin-off show too, following on from cameos in Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Bleeding Love singer Leona, 24, is an patron for the organisation and roped in some of her famous friends to help raise funds at this weekend's Christmas Fayre.
Leona roped in her friends to the event on Sunday to help raise funds for the centre which faces an uncertain future after owner Ernie Clark died from liver cancer last year aged 84.

On the charity's website Leona writes: 'Since the first day I visited Hopefield Animal Sanctuary I knew it would become a big part of my life.
'The work they are doing to save these abused and neglected animals is essential, they would simply have nowhere else to go if this sanctuary wasn’t here. At Hopefield these animals get to live out their lives peacefully and free from abuse.

From the sound of things, the brunette beauty had a fabulous time away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, though she may have not have been dressed entirely appropriately to play with marine animals.

Pigs do fly! Iconic porker floats above Battersea power station again to celebrate 35 years of Pink Floyd album

Pink Floyd's iconic flying pig has made a comeback - 35 years after it caused chaos by escaping into the skies over London.

A new 30-foot, helium-filled balloon floated high above Battersea Power Station to mark the reissue of the band's 14 studio albums.

But unlike its famous predecessor, this pig remained firmly tethered to the ground.

The original balloon, Algie - designed by band founder Roger Waters - broke free from its moorings during a photo shoot for the cover of the hit album Animals in 1976.
Plans had been made to fly Algie over Battersea on the first day of the three-day shoot, with a marksman ready to blast it out of the sky if things went wrong, but the pig was not launched.

On the second day, organisers had forgotten to book the marksman - and Algie made its bid for freedom. A strong gust of wind snapped the tether and the pig shot skywards, drifting off south over London.

The pig disappeared from sight within five minutes and was soon spotted by startled airline pilots at 30,000 feet.

Flights to and from Heathrow Airport were cancelled as Algie flew through the path of passenger aircraft. The balloon headed out towards the coast before crash-landing at a farm in Kent that night.

The pig was recovered and repaired so the photo-shoot could resume. but by the time he was brought back to Battersea, the cloudless, blue sky was deemed too 'boring'. So what Floyd fans eventually got was a composite picture.

She bit her bottom lip and fought back the tears as she attempted to maintain a certain amount of royal decorum.

But attempts at a stiff upper lip failed miserably when newlywed Zara Philips broke down and cried as she officially retired her beloved horse Toytown.

It was with Toytown, fondly known as ‘Noddy’ or ‘Ginger’, that she was crowned world eventing champion five years ago.

Yesterday, the Queen’s granddaughter paraded the horse for the last time, at the final day of this year’s Festival of British Eventing, at Gatcombe Park, in Stroud.

Miss Philips, who married England rugby player Mike Tindall just over a week ago, described Toytown as ‘the complete horse’.

She said: ‘I think it will be quite difficult. It’s the end of an era.

‘He was the horse of a lifetime for me. We grew up together, we went through the levels together, and it all just seemed to go our way.’

‘His movement, his character, it all combined to make the complete horse. And cross-country, he was just a machine.’

She added: ‘I don’t think I am ever going to find another horse quite like him, but hopefully others that will be good enough to go to the same level as he did.’

The pair won individual and team gold at the 2005 European Championships, before conquering the world title a year later in Germany.

The horse’s final appearance for Great Britain came in the 2007 Europeans in Italy, where he finished sixth individually and helped secure another team gold.

But at the age of 18, and after suffering several injuries, the chestnut gelding has finally retired from the ring.

Downton's war of the labradors: Show's canine star is hounded out by castle's very unwelcoming rival

Downton Abbey – as its millions of fans know only too well – is a house seething with tension at the best of times.

But now it seems there is another source of rivalry every bit as fierce as the class struggle between the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants.

Lady Carnarvon, the owner of Highclere Castle, where the hit ITV drama is filmed, has revealed her pet labrador Percy was unwilling to tolerate the presence of Roly, the labrador that starred as the Crawleys’ pet, Pharaoh.

At one stage, producers considered dropping Pharaoh’s character from the script altogether. Instead, they decided to give the castle advance warning of Roly’s movements, so the two animals could be kept apart.

Lady Carnarvon said: ‘We have blonde labradors named Percy and Bella, and what’s bizarre is they bring in their own labrador. I haven’t got a clue why they don’t use ours, which are running up and down the stairs anyway.

‘Our male labrador minds the Downton one enormously, so I have to say, “When is your dog in? Don’t turn up unexpectedly,” because he does not like any other male dogs in the castle. He is very territorial.

‘We usually ask for no dogs in the castle actually, because we have five altogether – the others are spaniels we call Naughty 1, Naughty 2, and Naughty 3!’
The website of Highclere Castle makes clear that only guide dogs are normally allowed into the castle.

Gill Raddings, the dog handler who supplied Roly to the period drama, which counts the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge among its fans, said: ‘Even before filming began, there was talk of cutting the dog from the script altogether.

‘It had absolutely nothing to do with Roly.

‘Lady Carnarvon’s dog does not like male dogs in the house and he is apparently a fighter, so we had to give them advance warning when Roly was on the premises.’

The new series of Downton Abbey, which again stars Dame Maggie Smith, Penelope Wilton and Michelle Dockery, is set in 1916 and follows the fortunes of the household during the latter years of the First World War.

Filming is due to continue for another two weeks.

When Warwick Castle wanted someone famous to open their summer season they decided to go for the very best.

Pulling out all the stops, they secured the services of not just one X Factor judge, but two.

And true to their word, both Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh turned up at the castle on Saturday afternoon, looking to settle their differences.

Or at least two lookalikes did.


As close as they got: The pair, and their horses, wore traditional jousting clothing, and posed for photos but left the real battle to the experts

The pair of 'celebrities' were at the castle to help it mark the return of its jousting knights for the summer.

As on the TV show, the two men caused divided loyalties between many members of the crowd.

And while they did pose for these photographs, they were unable to battle it out for real, as they left that to the experts.

Cowell and Walsh also joined in with some falconry, with each man donning a protective glove so a bird could sit on their hand.

While guests were also treated to the falconry, they also witnessed a show by actors performing the Arthurian legend 'The Sword and the Stone.'

And visitors could get within fire-breathing distance of The Great Dragon, a star of the BBC's Merlin drama.

Warwick Castle was built in 1068 by William the Conqueror and used as a fortification until the early 17th century.

It was then converted by Sir Fulke Greville into a country house and remained in his family until 1978.

Following the Greville's family's sale to Tussauds, the company performed extensive restoration work before opening it to the public.

First Cheryl Cole was unceremoniously sacked fromX Factor USA.

Now Simon Cowell has dismissed a dog belonging to fellow judge Paula Abdul – because it was eating more expensive restaurant meals than he was.

Tulip the Chihuahua would regularly join Simon and Eighties singer Paula for gourmet dinners at the end of a day while on the road filming auditions.

The miniature pet would sit on Paula’s lap or a chair and devour her own main course, washed down with Evian – because the dog doesn’t touch tap water.

Paula would split the restaurant bill ‘three ways’ with the 51-year-old multi-millionaire, a source close to her entourage said.

‘It was pretty gross. Tulip would wolf down her entire plate in seconds and then bark, whine and beg at Simon for his food,’ the source said.

‘He told Paula she had to put a stop to this – that it was unhygienic and embarrassing.

‘I gather the final straw for him was that one day Paula ordered a main course for the dog that was more expensive than Simon’s. He just couldn’t get his head around that.’

The exasperated tycoon has now banned Tulip from his table.

‘Paula adores Tulip but she’s not going to argue with Simon, especially after what happened to Cheryl,’ the source added.

Simon’s spokesman declined to comment.

Earlier this week Simon's axed X Factor judge Cheryl was spotted in Hollywood having an intimate dinner with ex-lover Derek Hough.

The 28-year-old is on her first trip to the States since her humiliating sacking from the U.S. show's judging panel two months ago.

Cheryl met up with former boyfriend Derek Hough, the man she described as her ‘rock’ during her divorce.
