News update, Animals in zoo.

A team of Chinese experts arrived in Japan on September 16, 2010 to determine the cause of the death earlier in the month of the giant panda, it may call for Japan to pay 500,000 dollars in compensation if it died due to human error, some Chinese media reported. Nine-year-old male polar bear Hokuto, its fur stained with algae, walks around inside his cage at Himeji City Zoo in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture (state), western Japan, Friday, Sept. 17, 2010. Hokuto and another polar bear at the zoo changed their colors since algae overgrew in heat wave in a pond in which they were swimming daily but they seem to be unconcerned about the change, according to Kyodo News. Their color is expected to back to normal next month, also Kyodo said.
