Nine-year-old male polar bear Hokuto, its fur stained with algae, walks around inside his cage at Himeji City Zoo in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture (state), western Japan, Friday, Sept. 17, 2010. Hokuto and another polar bear at the zoo changed their colors since algae overgrew in heat wave in a pond in which they were swimming daily but they seem to be unconcerned about the change, according to Kyodo News. Their color is expected to back to normal next month, also Kyodo said.
